Children of Light has been accepted once again as a registered Canadian Charitable Organization. We praise our great God for this blessing. We are able to give receipts once again for all donation - retroactive to April of 2005 and so all these donations are tax-deductible.
Children of Light is a Canadian registered charity dedicated to assisting poor children in west Timor obtain a Christian education.
Support comes in two forms, child sponsorship and school sponsorship. Children are sponsored for $31 per month, which covers the costs of school operations. School sponsorships provide funding for land and school buildings.
Children to be sponsored are identified by the local churches based primarily on need. Current supported schools are a kindergarten in the town of Tarus and a junior high school in the town of Noelbaki.
